We’ve just recovered from the excellent ceilidh in Quy Village Hall on Saturday. At one point, we had everyone on the floor, including the bar staff. As someone said “nobody will be buying drinks if they’re all dancing, so the bar staff may as well have some fun”. Many thanks to the committee; we look forward to doing this again soon.
Did you manage to get a ticket for Little Thetford before they sold out? If not (and even if you did), why not dance the night away with Catch the Pigeon, this coming Saturday, 7th March.

Oh look. Here comes another cathedral ceilidh to follow the fun we had in Bury St Edmunds. The date is Friday 11th October 2019. This time, we’re playing in the stunning surroundings of Ely Cathedral’s Lady Chapel, as part of their Harvest Festival. Lucky us! Sadly, dear Clive is hurtling around the world somewhere, but we’re fortunate to have the multi-talented Oscar Wolfe to play in his place. Once again, Trevor Smith will be calling for us, so expect superb calling with a dose of good humour…
More details on the cathedral’s website and on their Facebook page.
We’re excited to have been asked to play for Sheila Neill’s wonderful fundraising event, in aid of Addenbrookes Hospital, Papworth Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support. You can keep up to date with the planning for this event here. In the meantime, save the date – 9th November 2019.
